Each medal is handcrafted out of heavy gauge bronze to provide a deep and clear image unlike medals of today. Then an old school silversmith hand plates each medal with a substantial silver plating that is thick enough to be engraved. The medals are then finished with a soft antiquing to bring out the beautiful details on each medal.
